"David Sorensen, a White House speechwriter, resigned on Friday after a news report detailed accusations from a former wife who said he had abused her during their marriage."

"His resignation came two days after Rob Porter, the White House staff secretary, submitted his own resignation after his two former wives publicly accused him of being abusive to them when they were married."

"Jessica Corbett, detailed a volatile two-and-a-half-year marriage in which Mr. Sorensen ran over her foot while driving a car and put out a lit cigarette on her hand.

Given the fact that out of nowhere conservatives love Russia, and this kind of act is legal there:
"From now on, beatings of spouses or children that result in bruising or bleeding but not broken bones are punishable by 15 days in prison or a fine, if they do not happen more than once a year."

trump choices make sense!

He really meant it when he promised to hire idiots and fuck ups, the unqualified and buddies who showed loyalty by giving him money

He said he is innocent , I mean you can ask him but he said he is innocent.

Wonder if Hicks did him too.

He said she said.

I think people misunderstand the purpose of the Russian law. Like Vice of course when to a Muslim region and interview a woman who is sadly being abased. But what vice not tell you is that that area and police etc is all Islamic.... so hmmm new protections and legit abuses might not be cared for as much.

Lol it's legal but it's illegal?

He must of fooled Trump in the personal face to face interview for the position ...

Did he really run over her foot, or did the tire of the car he was trying to escape in brush up against her shoe as she was berating him for accidentally defending himself from a series of blows while holding a lit cigarette?

Funny how this shit didn't get through in other administrations.

Maybe this president doesn't have to take responsibility for anything though, he hasn't yet

He claims innocence, and his first wife has trouble believing the allegations as he was not abusive toward her while they were married, or in the years since.
Maybe wait a while before stating his guilt as though it were fact?

You're a little late, their minds are made up.

He resigned, make of that what you will.
I read guilt into it.

It's pretty fucked up that accusation = guilt, to some of these lunatics.
So, just because the guy is associated with Trump, the rule of law no longer matters?

That's a path to actual authoritarianism.

Yeah but trump is hitler so it's ok.

Troll it up.

Not trolling.
It's easy to say what you'd do in a situation you're not in, but you're not in it, so we'll never know. What we do know (and all that is relevant) is that you're assuming guilt in this situation.

There's no reason to call me a troll just because you offered a throwaway statement, making an indefensible claim. Grow up, man.
