The rumor is, PSG will activate Neymar's €222m buy-out clause at Barcelona.

Paying $220 million for a football (soccer) player.....It's like back in the day when people used to buy slaves. This asset is worth $220 million and only for few years.

That's 58k peso-rubles too much.

@kid Pambele really crushing this thread with his analysis. gotta love a poster who jumps in a thread only to defer. three times lmao.

all that before they even pay him his salary

Sounds like Neymar's agent might be causing hassle to get him a new Barcelona contract to me.

Isn't Gaymar that little twink who got boliterated in the World Cup? lmfao

A)He's worth that much
B)It's not going to happen
C)Who gives a fuck
D)There's a soccer thread

How much is that in dead presidents? And I not familiar with the Euro terms. Does this mean PSG wants Neymar back?

No he plays for Barcelona...in soccer you don't trade players you buy them out from their actual contract or make him an offer when the contract ends(free-agent).
Most players nowadays have a buyout clause in their contracts or the team can say how much they want for the player. Neymar's contract with Barcelona has a €222m(around 255M $) buy-out clause...meaning every team who wants him has to pay 222M.

It's just like slavery except the slaves end up as millionaires and can stop working any time and get endorsement contracts and phat houses and virtually any bitch they want.....

but yeah, aside from that, it's just like slavery.

Unless Barcelona are willing to accept less. A lot of these buyout clauses are pretty astronomical and most players leave their clubs for a lot less. PSG have stupid money atm

Of course. With all the super rich clubs nowadays, they have to put it extra high so that they have more room to negotiate.

No it's nothing like slavery...even if both clubs reach an agreement the buying club still as to reach an agreement(salary/Bonus/contract length) with the player.
If the player don't want to sign with the new club then both clubs can do nothing.
