***2024 Investment Thread***

I'm a simple buy and hold ETF investor

I've been hearing/reading that in 2024 Small Caps could/should outperform the overall market or Magnificent 7 (Apple, Microsoft, Google parent Alphabet, Amazon.com, Nvidia, Meta Platforms and Tesla)

I'm Canadian, and a large part of my portfolio has been in VUN and QQC

I'm looking into the XSU for 2024 which indexes to the Russell 2000

Anyone have thoughts or positive contribution on this topic?

Investing in ETF is the way to go.

Having said that, I’ve probably tripled my gains by buying individual tech stocks. Ive also lost though by risking a lot.

Now I invest 75% boring ass ETF and 25% risky stocks.

I regret having mutual funds, but back then, I was too young and dumb. Now I only swing for the fences with individual stocks and am refined and experienced like prime Barry Bonds.
