NCAA Wrestling

I was hoping to get enough people and have enough time to do a proper 10 man snake draft but i dont think we could get it organized quickly enough.

We could have everyone pick one person per weight and you have use 10 seeds. So you pick 1 number 1 seed, 1 number 2 seed, etc. DM me the picks and I'll put a google sheet together and share Thursday morning. Winner gets to talk shit until next year. If it works we can organize a little earlier next year to get some money in play and do a proper draft.

Thoughts?
For the 9th & 10th seed picks may we opt for a lower seeded or unseeded wrestler?

The people that submitted stuck to 1 through 10 seeds but there isnt any money on this so if you want to use an unseeded person go for it. This is essentially a test run for next year anyway.

I made a spreadsheet and lined it all up so I could compare then basically looked at each 1, 2, 3, etc. and picked based on who I thought was the strongest remaining at the seed. Once I picked Zain at 1 and removed all the other 1 seeds, I looked at who the best #2 was and so on. It was honestly a lot easier than I thought it would be.

Thats pretty much how i did it. Zain is obviously the biggest sure thing so he is the clear 1 seed to take. After that its just a matter of who you think will out wrestle their seed.

Sounds like Jason Renteria missed weight.

edit:
I thought this was a bigger deal. I just looked over my bracket and I don't think this changes anything for me.

crazy how they have people on stand by this year to step in for people that are injured or don’t make weight. What a roller coaster for those stand by wrestlers.

Dammit I forgot the password for my espn account so I guess I can only watch on my iPad instead of multiple screens this year

Tomasello is gonna murder Cruz in the finals if he even makes it there. He doesn't look good in this first round.

That kid is pretty tough.

For reference Tomasello beat him 7-3 earlier in the year and the kid is a True freshman.

Spencer Lee teched and pinned him but his top game is way ahead of anybody at 125 accept maybe Lizak.

For a true freshman he made a good account of himself. Reckon he'll get a few AA's in the future. Maybe even a title.

Dhesi is still wrestling? I thought he graduated last year. Im pretty intrigued by this kid, DI All American and legit freestyle credentials is pretty rare amongst Canadians.
