Simmons was exposed to the NBA LIFE ETC FIRST YEAR.. nothing compares to that.Mitchell wasin college last year.

Lmao at this. Watching NBA games/practices court side = not a rookie. Jack Nicholson has 40 years of NBA experience everyone!

What an idiotic argument.

Dude is learning the offense and defense for a full year before playing. You're ignorant as fuck if you don't think that gives him an advantage over kids straight out of college.

Did jack play in the summer league? Bc Ben did...
Mitchell was in college that summer not playing vs NBA players . .

Being unable to play, essentially watching from the side lines and reading playbooks. Which, oddly enough, you could also do with a quick google search.

So did George De Paula for your Houston Rockets, who has never played in the NBA. If he did, would you consider him a rookie his first year, or nah, because he played summer league.

so was last year Julius Randle's third season? Him playing 14 minutes makes that his rookie year?
I know for Baseball you'd still be considered a rookie in a situation that like for the next season

It's a weird situation mainly b/c the players while injured are still paid (and thus that year counts towards Bird Rights, correct?) b/c of guaranteed contracts....at least when a player is say stashed overseas they aren't paid by the NBA team but whatever team they are still playing on so it doesn't matter

Who gives a shit who the runner up for ROTY will be. Everyone knows LonzGOAT has it in the bag. Just wait until he makes Jason Kidd look like Jerian Grant next season. Hopefully they can re sign prime Zack Randolph 2.0(Julian candle), and have a healthy KD 2.0(Ingram) and future mvp KUZMA for a whole season next year. They’ll no doubt run into the reincarnated 96 bulls in Toronto in the 2019 nba finals.

Commence 3 pages of laker talk now

Ben Simmons had a year to juice (which is why he was injured in the first place) and grow out of his rookie body prior to this season . Plus he also practiced with NBA players and had NBA coaching on the regular. That alone gives him a major advantage over real rookies.

According to @auger38, you can just google all that stuff though

That's why I brought up age earlier. You don't have a rookie body just because you're a rookie. It's based on growing into your frame, as you know.

A whole lot of practicing/coaching was being done with that one foot of his.

Find a reputable source that says Ben Simmons' rookie year was last year and I'll concede.

That's a rational based on facts. Gtfo

Baynes is a massive human being and Grizzly Adams dwarfs him. Ridiculous

Arvydas sabonis was 31 years old when he joined the NBA, still made NBA all rookie team

I don't even think Nader knows what he's doing when he drives the rim. He just throws it up like a tard

Raps rest DeKobe and don't show up too the 4th and easily beat the magic on the road

Showdown with CaBron tomorrow night on the b2b. Should be fun

Some Miami Heat teammates saw the scale and attest to it in amazement. James himself just shrugs and calls it "weird as hell." The truly wild part is that it was from 271 pounds to 278 pounds, though James is much lighter these days.

Juice supposedly gained 7 lbs during a ECF game. Huge, if true. These designer PEDs are no joke. After all, he was in Miami. *cough* Biogenesis *cough*

Crazy to see him move the way he does at nearly 280 pounds.
