With the Sports Writers of Thailand Fighter Of The Year Award unveiled this week, all of muay thai's main awards for the year of 2016 have been handed to their respective winners.
- Muangthai won Lumpinee Stadium Fighter of the Year Award, with a 3-0 record at Lumpinee in 2016 - wins over Saen, Petpanomrung (KO) and Kaimukkao (KO);
- Puenkon Tor Surath won Rajadamnern Stadium Fighter of the Year Award, with a 9-0 record at Raja in 2016 - notable wins over Suriyanlek, Pichitchai 2x and Kingsanglek;
- PK Saenchai Gym won Gym of the Year Award;
- Puenkon Tor Surath won Sport's Authority of Thailand Fighter of the Year Award;
- Pet-U-Thong won Sports Writers Fighter of the Year award, with a 6-0 record from April 2016-March 2017 - notable wins over Saen, Superlek, Kaimukkao (KO) and Panpayak (KO);
