it was November of 2016. In the eye of ufc 205, a two top lightweight contenders enter the cage.

One, in Johnson, is expected to be nothing more than a sitting duck for the heavy russian favorite, Khabib. Khabib was expected to run through him on his way to a win and then a title shot.

But Johnson had other plans, and despite the predictors, was able to land a punch on the wrasslin russian, and hurt him with it.

a 2016 moment that forever changed the landscape of 2017 and beyond.

Yup, Johnson was tearing him apart. Conor would kill him. Literally.

Where did he get ''rocked'' exactly?

The most significant strike of the fight was landed by Khabib

Johnson landed a bit more than just one or two punches on Ferguson...

If those were Conor's shots, khabib would of face planted.

Robbery that the fight wasn't stopped there and then. Should have made the round 10-5 and given Johnson the decision (despite the submission). Being hit by that single shot is worse then all of the combined losses of every other lightweight and he should have been cut after the match for having received it.

Michael Johnson rocked Gaethje, how can you say that he did the same to Khabib? 10 seconds later and he was on the ground being mauled

Too much tiramisu the night before will do that to your reaction time

So we're doing threads on inconsequential single punches now?

It was an extremely apocalyptic moment that forever altered the landscape of both the LW division and Sherdog forums.

However, it pales in comparison to the shockwaves felt by Russow's unforgiving late shot...

"ROCKED" yeah right I'm not sure why that myth is still alive on sherdog

It actually didn't change anything...

Khabib won and was scheduled for an interim title fight, but he had to pull out, so in reality nothing really changed.

This thread is proof that Khabib hasn't fought in two years.
