Hicham Hakam a professor of the Elite BJJ and MMA team in Casablanca was awarded his Black belt by David Vieira, a 2nd degree black belt himself.

It's the first time that a black belt is awarded in the country, and Hicham has apparently worked very hard in trying to implement the sport and organise some competitions in the country.

    Congratulations to him !

i heard that news yesterday in our gym(fus). great news!!! you are lucky guys to have a teacher who has Black belt in bjj bro!!! i wish he comes to our gym(rabat), and teach us some lessons. our teacher is a blue belt, a great guy who teach us well. we really enjoy it.

why didn't he(with his students) come to the tournament organized this year in april???

"organise some competitions in the country": that's what moroccan BJJ practioners are looking for badly! we dont have many tournaments in our country. only one tournament per year! we really need more BJJ tournaments to show what we have learnt it and to improve our bjj skills.
