That was a dream matchup that I always wanted to see. You think Wand would have gone toe to toe with Igor?

Igor is the man. Greatest tournament fighter of all time. First true combination puncher in MMA. Shame so much of his legendary run isn't on tape.

These opponents didnt have the same opportunities back then, coz of the MMA market & coz they were from Eastern Europe (end of the Cold War still)

Just can't agree with this part.

There is one guy, also Russian, that has been in even more tournaments in Igor.
    One day tournaments.
    More than 10.

    And he's active. Very active
    Very very active.

    Guess his name

Yes 100% Wand went toe to toe with Mark Hunt and Crocop so of course he would with Igor.

But this was going to be Wand after 2 brutal KO losses to CC and Hendo, and even though Igor was inactive for awhile, I think he would have put Wands lights out.

He was more self-learner, and learned more to get up rather survive on the ground.
He was helpless on the back still...

A "nobody" is only discovered after fighting and the outcomes of the fights. Moreover, a nobody becomes a somebody through fights. The vast majority of fighters start off as "nobodies."

I think Igor would have definitely put him to sleep after the CC and Hendo loses. I wanted the matchup before that though. I think it would have been a lot more interesting seeing those 2 fight before Wand started to get brutally KO'd. Igor definitely had enough dynamite in his fists to be the first to do it in PRIDE.
