Lawler was a fun but flawed middle-of-the-pack fighter who had a acute and spectacular career turn around.
Post USADA he hasn't been the same guy, and looks like the fighter he was a few years before his miraculous regeneration.
Keep in mind the suspicious test results he turned in for NSAC with his second Rory fight.

Its amazing how old school Robbie Lawler is, he was like from the era of prime Hughes during the time guys like Zack Light, Dave Strasser, Frank Trigg and Pete Spratt were active. Then we had Karo Parisyan, Joe Riggs, Nick Diaz, Sean Sherk followed by TUF 1 fighters and TUF Noobs.
At this point, Karo, Riggs, Koscheck are considered ancient even though they are younger in MMA careers than Lawler and yet they fizzled out and seem more ancient. While Robbie still is in the game.
