I wouldn't mind a 165lb weight class. I think there's enough depth at LW & WW to support it, even make for another deep division.

195lbs not so much. The top at MW is aging and LHW is desperate for talent so it would just make for another extremely shallow weight class.
 
I agree with 165 the most. 175 is a good idea as well. I don’t see enough talent an more additional weight classes beyond 185. LHW is starving right now and HW will be hitting a huge retirement curve in the near future.

I hate the idea of putting another class between 155 and 170.

Conor fought Eddie for a belt.
Ferg fough Lee for a belt.
Khabib fought Iaquinta for a belt.

170:
Wonderboy fought Woodley for a belt.
RDA fought Covington for a belt.

185:
GSP fought Bisping for a belt.
Whittaker fought Romero for a belt.

Already way too much nonsense with divisions being split with multiple belts.

ANY FIGHTER WHO IS IDEALLY SUITED TO 165 SHOULD BE FIGHTING AT 170, NOT 155.
ONE IS 10 LBS AWAY, ONE IS 5 LBS AWAY.

100% this. Segregation is discrimination. There's no reason to segregate people based on size. A "champion" at flyweight who'll get killed by the 15th ranked MW in a fight is not really a champion.

thing is, someone suited to 165 is someone that is big for 155 and can't really make weight reliably
