    Sorry, not sorry

Why would Conor take that fight? A dangerous fight against someone who brings nothing to the table $ wise? no thanks

Sorry Tony but you can't sell water in the desert

I have no problem with Conor not fighting Tony as long as he vacates the belt and Tony can then fight legit contenders.

Can't blame it all on TFerg. Lee was a relative newcomer. Everyone knew DJ would win, and Black Beast dropping out last second didn't help either. The card itself was pretty lackluster too, so that led to very few late buys... ;)

Because it is about the best fighting the best and not money?

Money is only a result of UFC having built a reputation for being a platform where the best fight the best in fair competition.

Conor doesn't fight MMA anymore guys, he has a new career as a long-distance runner.

It used to be that for sure. That helped get it to where it is today.

But nowadays the UFC could give a shit about having the best. It's still the big show, but they gave up on the "best fighting the best" business model a long time ago. So much so that they let go top 10 fighters, let their top stars play patty cake with boxers, and reward mouths with big fights.

Don't get me wrong, they are just following the money. If their new business model didn't work, they'd go back to actually trying to maintain a roster of the very best. Right now, they don't have to.

I think they're taking an extremely short sighted approach right now, kind of like cutting off all the flowers without thinking it might kill the plant.

I agree. But Dana is a late capitalist through and through. Make money now, worry about the repercussions later. Seems WME is in the same boat. Their business model may be the sport equivalent of climate change, but they couldn't be bothered to give a damn. By the time it tanks Dana will be out of the game and WME will have probably sold it off.

If the UFC has created an interim title and instead of Conor and Tony Unifying the belt they let Conor fight somebody else while Tony staying interim champion would be about as fucked up as the video my friend sent me of a dog literally jacking off.

    It's a Catch-22. Conor's mouth brings in the neckbeard/casual $$$.

But the more he fights the more he'll be exposed, and the less aura he'll have so the less $$$ he'll bring in.

Right now he's trying to cling onto as much neckbeard market share as he can after being humiliated by Floyd.

That's the problem with making your name off midgets and then getting shatted out by Diaz and old man Floyd, lol.

Fake GOATS never last, just ask Ronda.

In other words, Conor nuthuggers have already started with the excuses as to why Conor will duck Tony. Truly the most delusional fan base in existence.

Diaz has headlined at least 6 cards since he was on TUF. Why does he get to headline so much if he is not a draw?

Why do you give a shit? Are you that insecure for mcgregor?

He is not concerned about you. He doesn't know you exist.

He made upwards of 100 million dollars 2 months ago. What are you trying to prove with this nonsense?

Tony doesn't have to sell. People will pay to see Conor fight.

You actually think Nate Diaz can be a draw and sell ppv by himself?

Do I have to post the video DW saying Nate isn't a needle mover?

Conor can fight Artem and it would sell a mil ppv still.
