No UK clampdown on EU migrants for years after Brexit: report

Britain may have to allow European Union migrants to come to the country without restrictions for several years after Brexit because of the scale of the challenge of setting up a new immigration system, a think tank said on Thursday.
The Institute for Government, an independent research body, said it was unfeasible for the government to implement a new system by April 2019, when Britain is due to have left the EU.
"The prime minister has recognized that an ‘implementation phase’ will be required post-Brexit," the institute said in a report. "For immigration, this will require the continuation of free movement, possibly for several years post-Brexit."

During his presidential campaign, Donald Trump famously promised to deport every person living in this country without proper papers. I have another idea: The 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. should be granted citizenship immediately in a mass induction.
Why?
It’s simple. Let’s say a country consumes 10 percent of the planet’s resources. Well, then it should be home to 10 percent of the world’s people. We have about 4.4 percent of the global population, which means we can consume that much of the planet’s resources guilt-free.
But by most calculations, we consume far more than 4.4 percent of the world’s natural wealth. Therefore, 11 million new people isn’t nearly enough. We should send out a call for many hundreds of millions more to join.
Here's an idea: "The 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. should be granted citizenship immediately in a mass induction."
It’s so obvious that one has to wonder why the UN isn’t working on it.

Police officers showed their softer side when they bought a group of starving illegal immigrants a bite to eat from a Leicester service station.
The Tactical Roads Policing Team which includes officers from Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire, who nipped into the nearest shop to buy some fizzy drinks and chocolate for the famished offenders.
They had collared the five individuals on April 25 after spotting them jumping from a lorry at the Leicester Forest East service station on the M1 northbound.

By the way in the last few months I have noticed that there is a new rule, whenever you see a lorry stopped in the layby the backdoor is left open in case any of these f*****s are on board.

The United States is home to more immigrants than any other country in the world, a new survey revealed.
According to a
report from the Pew Research Center, more than 40 million people currently living the the U.S. were born in another country. In other words, roughly one-fifth of the world’s migrant population call the U.S. home.
“The U.S. foreign-born population reached a record 43.2 million in 2015. Since 1965, when U.S. immigration laws replaced a national quota system, the number of immigrants living in the U.S. has more than quadrupled,” the study says.
Today, immigrants account for 13.4 percent of the U.S. population, which is almost three times the share (4.7 percent) in 1970.
Pew estimates that by 2065 the number of immigrants in the U.S. will have grown to more than 78 million.
Broken down by race, the analysis predicts Asians will make up roughly 38 percent of all immigrants, Hispanics will be 31 percent, whites will be 20 percent, and blacks will be 9 percent.
While most immigrants living in the U.S. are doing so legally, about a quarter, or 11 million, are in the country illegally.

Note how the article makes it sound like the immigration boom is from the UK. Now there is an emigration boom of Britons to our former colonies to get away from the horrible overflowing toilet that the UK is becoming. But if we check the stats
