“Bro, can you imagine if Lebron or Odell trained mma??? They’d clean up the whole heavyweight division!”

Could this be possible? Sure! Do we know if Lebron would crumble after one punch to the chin? NO. Do we know if he’d have killer instinct? NO. Could he face adversity and come back? WHO KNOWS.

Let’s stop acting like any athlete with training would immediately be elite.

Lebron is too much of a diva and shouldn't be the go to for the a level athlete argument. He WOULD crumple after one punch because he has been coddled his whole life. There are tough guys in other sports who with the proper training would be a f ing machine. Lebron is not one of them

    Right. A-level athlete ≠ A-level fighter.

You're so confident that you are correct, you don't even take the time to think about it and realize you're wrong.

Being the better athlete has always been an advantage going into any sport, including combat sports. Fact is, the guys with all the heart in the world still have to bridge a huge gap to make up their lack of dexterity or athleticism.

Also, not every athlete can do this obviously, but is it any athlete or Lebron? Because he is a freak among other freaks and makes them look normal.

He seems like a freak because he's playing Basketball! Basketball definitely isn't a "tough guy" sport

FYI Odell is a manlet. But yes, he would be unstoppable at welterweight if he trained.

No because he does things that other people can't do. Just because you never played basketball and only have seen games from 2010 and on, doesn't make it not a 'tough' sport. Basketball was much more physical when he started playing than it is now. Go look up Lebron in highschool and realize that if the 6'8, 230 pound, 4.5 running grown man of a 16 year old decided to do any sport under the sun he would be great at it

No he wouldn't. He is too emotional and a diva. You have to be tough to fight. There are guys in the nfl who if they trained would be monsters. This has to be a troll thread because lebron and odell are 2 of the worst choices you could pick to be a legit mma fighter

Its statement like "Odell in the HW division.." from TS that make me laugh, you know he has no idea how big Odell is but lumps him into Lebron sized men right away

Says you. Height equals being able to play any sport gotcha. Problem alot of tall dudes are uncoordinated as fuck, so theres that.
