I don't feel like looking for the source, but I've read sociopaths and psychopaths can actually get along pretty well with dogs due to the basically unconditional love. Some of them do probably get upset and kill them though...

I had to put my dog on PEDs this week. He's aggressive now, and it's always confrontational when we make eye contact these days.
