but most people just don't understand injuries. This isn't a movie, even when it comes to super-athletes most injuries never (I repeat NEVER) fully heal and have lasting effects (even if only minor ones)
I broke my wrist when I was a little kid, doctor's did everything they could to fix it, but it still gets sore from time to time way more than the other one and tends to feel more loose (hard to explain) and I'm 28.
I tore a retina about 4 years ago and I still have tons of floaters in my eye and see bright spots all the time.
Nothing ever heals 100% Athletes may heal better than normal people and they certainly can tough things out better than normal people but that doesn't mean they're actually the same as they were
Can't really tell, I would imagine he's using it in training a lot. This is not good for a fact. My injury happened 4 years ago, I can wrestle but my shot is shit i'm only 165 but am defensive now and in situation where I wouls dig my toes in the mat and drive forward, I use the top or side of my foot, it works but its not the same....Jones had a worse injury than me.....but he also had the best doctors immediately treating him. If I gave you a time frame it would be a guess, so I'm gonna say another year to be able to use it proficiently, but it will most likely never be 100% due to the range of motion loss, his toe would be more prone to inflammation... Ill show the PT the pic of jones toe tomorrow and ask him for you bro.
