Around 4/5ths of the people in this thread (and by that I mean all of: these types of threads, the people who've already posted in this one and in these types, and the people who will post) know jack shit about technique beyond what they hear Joe Rogan or the commentators say about technique. I don't even know too much about it, but I know enough to know that.

Also, the answer is Fedor. He held an unbelievable amount of technique in everything he did during his prime (and even passed it he had some savvy) despite possessing poor form; the amount of technique he possessed in his prime, when you really analyze it all, would put even the fighters that're classified as "highly technical" in awe and to shame.

Hardworking's probably Fitch and Forrest. They both said themselves that they have no athletic talent and were known for working extremely hard in the gyms.

I'd put Mike Pyle in the balanced area of technique and hard work. People who train with him always talk about how ridiculously hard he trains and what a ridiculous beast he is at the gym, and he's got very nice form to his striking and his grappling. He also possesses a lot of neat tricks (that faked hand trap to a right-hand feint and a front-kick to the head in his last fight was ridic').

First guy I thought of was Jim Miller to be honest.
