Michael Johnson makes sense, the guy who stepped in for him and beat his would-be opponent in Guillard. You could argue Johnson deserves a bigger fight though. I'm still not sold on Ross being anything other than an upper mid-tier guy.

It was a good scrap. One of the most technically sound striking displays of all time. Pearson was on a podcast right after describing the fight and what went wrong. There was much more to both guys' gameplans than people realize.

I think Johnson/Pearson would be good for both guys. Johnson doesn't deserve a high profile fight for that shitty Melvin fight.

Well, it's not just his win over Melvin, he had that lopsided win over Lauzon and finished Tibau. Plus he was scheduled to fight Thomson, so Pearson is definitely a step back from that. It's reasonable though.

Michael Johnson would be good. Or winner of Lauzon/Chiesa. Or winner of Castillo/Ferguson. So many good matchups at 155.
