It wasn't even just being robbed of a pay day in that case, but having a loss on the last fight of his current contract doesn't give him the kind of leverage he should have going into negotiating a new deal with the UFC. Dana's already given him his win money and mentioned that he's treating that fight as if Ross won, but it's still more hassle than Ross deserves.
