That doesn't work on TJ because he is capable of getting through his defense with switching stances and level changes. He'll snatch a single any chance he gets so there's the threat of that too for barao
I don't see how Barao will win unless he lands that big one.
TJ might be the best fighter in the world right now for all we know. He has every style in MMA. Explosive single legs, can take your back on a whim with dangerous chokes, tricky kickboxing, and he is extremely light on his feet.
Baraos going to either go for a ride when TJ puts him on his back or eat that signature high kick when he fakes.
I'm not going to say that TJ is the best fighter I've ever seen.
But that night... he was.
& The fact that he did it as a challenger to one of the most
dominant champions and previously considered top 5 P4P (rightfully so)-
Makes it that much more impressive.
I do think Barao will come back with a vengeance and probably won't
try to out technique Dillashaw, but instead, just come right after him.
& Will actually make it much more of a fight.
I like Barao a lot... but he shouldn't be fighting again so soon after all
that head trauma.
