As one of my personal faves, I'll be rooting for him but he's probably gone if/win he loses.
3 in a row, and a failed test, will be enough. I can see ways in which he beats Pierce but this is exactly how I see it going:
Round 1 - Palhares comes out like a fucking bezerker, showing ridiculous strength to maul Pierce to the ground (imagine Pierce's fight with Aaron Simpson, rnd 1). He dominates on the ground and Pierce manages to somehow stay in there.
Round 2 - Palhares is knackered and disheartened that he couldn't put Pierce away. Gets boxed around for a bit, drops and Pierce finishes him.

Yes and rightfully so. 3 straight losses (2, potentially 3 via stoppage) and a drug suspension = gone. He's been in the UFC for over 5 years now and still hasn't really beaten anyone notable so unless he looks like a completely different fighter at 170, we've seen all he is capable of
