Actually you are talking out your ass. Depends how test is used (dosage, cycle time etc.) taken and diet. Testosterone (and any other analogue for that matter) can be used for increased muscle recovery and for cutting fat while sparing muscle. A caloric deficit and intense cardio push the body into a catabolic state and AS help prevent this. On the other hand if caloric excess is created then there will be an increase in mass + weight which inherently tends to reduce speed. What you are making it sound like is that AS are some sort of sedative. Testosterone and some of the other AS tend to also increase water retention so steps are taken to drastically cut water weight at the end.
