It's like I said, if he fights at 115 he might be smallish in the cage because his nutritionist emphasizes lengthy, gradual cuts. So it's pretty pointless to suggest he move down classes based on how much he weighs relative to his opponent in the cage. But that's what fans see, so that's what they base it on. They assume everybody's cutting routine is the same.
The things that should dictate weight class are walkaround/natural weight and reach. And believe it or not, Sergio's reach (69-69.5" listed) is actually above average for a bantamweight, and his walkaround is about average in the mid to upper 150's. So bw is where he belongs.
