"The voice of the freemasons" would be a nice change from goldie and rogan.

I wouldn't mind the guy who commentated for the pride 2003 tournament and schavello. Two guys with positive upbeat attitudes that don't get biased commentating fights unlike rogan.

Rogan and dana need to take a vacation or go away completely

PED, TRT or AAS questions? Tired of misinformation on the forums? PM me and I'll enlighten you.

Rogan and Goldie have gotten very stale.

I really like the Miletich/Schiavello combo.

Schiavello has been shining shit on HDNet/Axs fights for years. He (or his team?) does a lot of research on the unknown guys.

Schiavello is horrible.

Bringing in new talent is fine by me as long as there are worthy people to do the job, but if Schiavello is the best option then I vote hell no.

Goldie is world class, the best in the business. You want to get rid of over-the-top cacophonous announcers? Then don't hire fucking Schiavello.
He's the Michael Jordan of announcing.

His commentary is really commentarial.

K-1 level posting.

I definitely prefer Joe and Goldy over the Florian and Anik team, but that's not saying much. Personally, I'm able to block out Joes biased commentary and Goldys goofy play by play style (or laugh at his epic slip ups), but I would say that if you wanted to put together a very professional team, it wouldn't involve either of them.

I think when that team was put together, the UFC still had a major obsession with freak show fights, thought of their main competition as professional wrestling, and wanted commentators who could convey that sense of excitement, and were anything but boring. Now that they're in a different place, and MMA is taken a bit more seriously, perhaps its not the fit that it once was.

I like the fact that they've been changing up the commentators a bit, whether it's just scheduling conflicts or w/e, its interesting seeing guys like Stann get a shot, seeing Joe with Anik, etc. I wouldn't mind seeing Mir get into that mix, now that his career is winding down.
