Which didn't prove much because both fights left more questions than answers no matter how you look at it. Nonetheless this is my opinion obviously Weidman fans will say something opposite. Weidman has yet to even be actually tested.. he has yet to even face anyone with good TDD. Anderson has great footwork/movements, but lacks TDD ability.

Regardless Weidman is very enjoyable to watch he always goes for the finishes and does very unpredictable things when he fights. Some Weidman fans want Mousasi to beat Machida because they know he will be a terrible match up for him which is funny to see.

He dominated Silva on the ground in Round 1 of the 1st fight as predicted by many and then KO'd him in the 2nd round. In the 2nd fight he dominated him this time standing, dropped him and easily took the round 10-9.

Weidman has been in the Octagon for 15:04 over 4 different rounds and he was winning every second of that time. I wouldn't call it flukey in any way.
thats just because you have common sense

imo this will be p4p the toughest run in ufc history. other than gus, machida was pretty much jones toughest test at LHW at this point (he ko'd rashad and probably could have been given the nod vs rampage. just ask rampage)

the thing about weidman is he'll never get his due credit. stopping anderson twice in a row will come with a ton of excuses. now hes facing vitor whos been murdering everyone at 185. oh but it wasnt trt belfort. if weidman dominates machida he will start getting his due respect but even then there will be doubters
