Poirier is chinny and there to be hit... McGregor will probably KO him in the first round.....

Round 1 of Poirier vs. Corrisani convinces me that Dustin's chances against McGregor are not great.

That and the early sections of the Holloway bout. Dustin is going to get lit up and TKO'd.

This is a lose/lose for McGregor with Shertards.

If he destroys Diamond: KZ destroyed Diamond as well and Conor would get torched by a real fighter like Aldo.

If he loses: EXPOSED.

Reality: Conor is the best thing to happen to MMA since UFC. Dude transcends the sport whether you like it or not and one cannot grasp the profundity of it unless you are Irish, understand Irish history or live in Ireland. Seriously, the guy will be in history books just as John L Sullivan is; and he is representing a culture that is the apotheosis of fighting.

Can't deny that Conor is skilled. But Conor has also fought nothing but Journeymen in his career thus far. None of his UFC opponents had impressive records at all. This is the type of fight if we'll actually see if Conor is actually worth what he's saying. I can't honestly say he's got more then a 50/50 at best against Poirier based on his accomplishments to date. But i'm open to the idea that he's possibly skilled enough to get by Dustin. And we shall certainly see i'm guessing. All signs are pointing to this fight happening it seems. Which I'm down for.

I'm a fan of both guys, I think it's a fantastic fight and the best ma will win.

I think that will be McGregor, based on how much it feels like Dustin has been getting tagged lately.

Will be a great scrap.

You call a grown man Diamond.

If we were playing poker that wouldnt be a tell that would be like screaming at me, "I got a Queen, see!?"

Its not my fault you come off a bit floaty and soft. That's your doing, you fix that.

Poirier's wrestling isn't good enough to take and hold Conor down, and he's not at his level as a striker. Only question is whether Conor (T)KO's him or whether he wins a unanimous decision.
