Yes. But I would dare say that fights won 10 years ago means less than more recent fights when it comes to getting title shots. And it's a fact Machida is 3-4 in his last 7 at lhw. That's probably why he decided to drop to 185, and that's why he shouldn't be fighting the lhw champ without actually beating contenders at lhw and making his way to a title shot. Although he's probably more deserving than Chael was.

Yup. It's not that he wasn't an elite LHW... In fact I think he'd still be a really tough fight for a lot of people at 205. But against the top 5 in the division he's going to struggle. At 185 he looks GOOD. He should keep it that way.
