Recently I think we've really see the key issue with fighter pay, because Zuffa have been keeping the lions share of the income themselves rather than investing in the sports future we know find ourselves with a talent base that's much too weak to cover the expansion of the sport.
I would turn things around and say is there any other sport in which the fanbase has such a strong emotional attachment to promoters or owners? you've got to applaud Dana and the Feritta's I spose for pulling it off but much of the fanbase backing them over the fighters is rather strange.

for the fans that pay money to watch and actually support the UFC, wed like to know that a certain amount goes to the fighters. the NFL has a union to make sure the players get a fair take from the owners and UFC fans are the ones backing the owners who are billionaires... very strange indeed.
