Agreed grappling has got to go. It's injuring everyone and making fights even more boring, because LnP is one kind of boring. LnPing with a shot knee or broken foot is a whole nother level of boring.
Hence Aldo's very poor PPV numbers for that event. People ordered the PPV, then canceled their order midway through the 2nd round of the Aldo fight and went ahead and got their PPV back. Sucks because Dana said that PPV was trending at 1 million PPV buys leading into the main event. That means 4/5 of the viewers cancelled their PPV before it ended and got their money back.
For most companies that would mark the end, but since we're talking about UFC, I think it probably marks the end of grappling. Oh well, make way for more exciting fights and less awesome match ups being ruined by injuries from grappling hell yeah. Death to all grapplers!
You aren't being serious are you? Aldo is actually a grappler originally, and he broke his foot kicking KZ.
