Hard to say. If Kawajiri could handle the strength of a big MW fighter like Josh Thompson, then maybe he'll make an impact in the UFC.

I know we went through this when Hioki came (and it was deserved in that case too, although he didn't do as well as hoped), but I think Kawajiri is excellent and will make his mark.
He probably won't be champ, with guys like Mendes and Aldo in there, but he's going to win some big fights for sure.
Looking forward to seeing him in the Octagon.

They were all clearly on the decline though and losing in Japan before coming here, Kawajiri is on a winning streak and looking good at 145.

Agree, that Kawajiri does not matchup well against Aldo but while maybe not the favored he would
Have a fair chance against Mended. Frankie would be be tougher for Kawajiri due to speed and movement.
