Hendricks' round 2 and 4 not nearly as decisive as Hendricks fans making it out to be
Round 2 - Hendricks landed the uppercut and GSP's right leg buckles as he stepped back but as Hendricks comes steam rolling in GSP is still trying to counter, Hendricks continued to land 3 possibly 4 hard shots in the clinch which would have (If GSP was really that rocked) put him out. GSP survives without even being knocked down and the rest of the round was even as Hendricks' shots started to get weaker.
Round 4 - GSP slips, Hendricks jumps on him and cuts him with a few short elbows. GSP gets back up and Hendricks doesn't do anything significant for the rest of the round. Striking could have even favored Georges for the rest of round 4. Also worth noting that on Hendricks' failed TD attempt George had him in a position to knee his face in but Hendricks resorted to the hand on ground rule which is a pretty pansy rule.
Please post gifs of the whole sequence of GSP's leg buckling and Hendricks jumping on him or any other gifts that prove that Hendricks "dominated" GSP.
The reason Hendricks fans think he won is because 1) the fight was competitive, which is so rare in a GSP fight, 2) GSP's face showed damage (which it always does), and 3) because GSP's leg buckled after a Hendricks uppercut and Hendricks landed a couple more hard shots (which didn't drop GSP or anything..).
Some Hendricks fans even said rounds should have been 10-8, which is absurd.
The fight could have gone either way but I believe 1,3 and 5 went to Georges. 1 is arguable but 2 and 4 are in no way dominant rounds for Hendricks either, he did when them though.
As people re-watch the fight I believe more will agree with GSP winning and realize just how close of a fight it is but in no way was it a robbery of Hendricks.
