Hunt has fought heaps of grapplers/wrestlers
Rothwell - Dont know if he wrestled in college but uses a lot of takedowns in his arsenal, he's a big guy who from the clinch he is strong.
Tuscherer - NCAA Div 2 wrestler
Bobbish - NCAA Division III
Fedor - Multi Judo/Sambo medalist
Yoshida - Judo Olympian
Josh Barnett - Catch Wrestler
Kongo - Primarily a wrestler but has does often switch to wrestling depending on opposition, tried to take hunt down very quickly with no success.
McCorkle - Relies mostly on his wrestling but it was hunt that dived into his guard.
He has done well against the majority of them defensively it's just his ground game that sucks, looks like a fish out of water a lot of the time but he showed signs of improvement against Rothwell, using trips and being quick to his feet...and he has shown some strangely talented reversals and submissions attempts. I think he handles most of the divisions wrestlers it's just the strong bjj guys and the elite wrestlers of the division...being Cormier and Cain, can't see him getting past either of them.
Kongo a wrestler? comeon ! Kongo is well known for originally being a muay thai fighter.
I do have a question, however. How can people not grasp Hunt (or Struve, for that matter) fighting for the belt?
It isnt because of his record (9-3 in the UFC) but becaus he hasnt beaten a 'big name yet'. If he beats Hunt he needs a big name, otherwise he could will be the Alexander Gustafsson of the HW-division.
