Dumb assumption really TS.

Could a manager have got him more money and got him fighting much earlier thus getting him more fight and more money per fight?

Maybe and maybe not. We cannot assume.

But we what we do know for sure is the vast, VAST majority of top athletes, movie stars and celebrities use agents. Maybe they are all wrong and dumb and just giving away money but methinks history has taught most that the guy with the strong agent makes more than the guy representing himself.

There is an expression that suggestions if you act as your own lawyer you have an idiot for a client. It might apply here to Nick.

Was he supposed to have invented sarcasm to use it? lol Maybe he copied me, or maybe it is just a simple phrase that bears repeating if the situation warrants it. There is nothing new under the sun; there were certainly intellectually bankrupt trolls on sherdog before you showed up and there will be plenty long after you leave.

yup.

And if we find Zuffa negotiated a tough deal with Nick that has him well below what most would expect the same people praising this will be the first to blame Zuffa for taking advantage of him.

Dana and Lorenzo know people want to see him, so I doubt he had to negotiate very hard.

"rights"

and having whole money instead of some bs rights leave you to actually choose what you want instead of receiving something that you may probably dont even want

This is the foolish thinking that lets companies steamroll their employees and milk them for all their worth. Money only buys so much, and doesn't help if the company doesnt want to sell that which you want to buy (like benefits, fair treatment, fair pay, opportunities for advancement, etc). UFC wants their fighters to make their own deals because they think like you do... which isnt much.

Who said you need three years to get your benefits? That's not true.

Also, he wasn't saying that you get 10k of your GI Bill up front. A signing bonus is separate.
