Barao has great BJJ so if the fight ever went to the ground it could work out well for him.

I must say, though... All the experts, and people here, were calling this one of, if not, the biggest shock in MMA when TJ won... Why? Because either TJ wasn't rated, Barao was/is a known legit legend.. or both. Probably both, right?

Now, Barao hasn't got any chance and there's barely any way he can win!

lol

The fact that he looked a league above Barao in their fight speaks for itself.

And this was the best kept secret in mma, obviously? TJ was hiding the fact that he's arguably the p4p goat all along? Who knew? All based on one fight.

I don't think T.J. has shown himself to be the best fighter in the division. He had what it took to become champ and I don't think Barao has anything for him. But that doesn't make him better than Barao, he might just be a good stylistic matchup.

Maybe Barao should hope TJ breaks his hand in 1st round. It was a beatdown, and no matter how you look at it, it is undeniable that he will be more cautious, and I think it will do him no good, we saw that in the first fight. I thought Barao would wreck him in the 1st fight btw. Come out guns blazing is Barao's only option IMHO.

I don't see how Barao will win unless he lands that big one.

TJ might be the best fighter in the world right now for all we know. He has every style in MMA. Explosive single legs, can take your back on a whim with dangerous chokes, tricky kickboxing, and he is extremely light on his feet.

Baraos going to either go for a ride when TJ puts him on his back or eat that signature high kick when he fakes.
I'm not going to say that TJ is the best fighter I've ever seen.
But that night... he was.
Flawless performance.
& The fact that he did it as a challenger to one of the most
dominant champions and previously considered top 5 P4P (rightfully so)-
Makes it that much more impressive.

I do think Barao will come back with a vengeance and probably won't
try to out technique Dillashaw, but instead, just come right after him.
& Will actually make it much more of a fight.
I like Barao a lot... but he shouldn't be fighting again so soon after all
that head trauma.
