Drake couldn't stop a power double to save his life.

Bäckström would get destroyed by the upper echelon of that weight division, he is far to wild on the feet and on the ground he'd get pieced up by guys like Aldo.

Bäckström is an intresting prospect, but let's not kid ourselves here he's in a weightclass with killers Poirier , Swanson , Aldo , Mendes to name 4.

Find yourself a reality check, and quick.

He beat pretty easily Lesnar and Mir (former UFC champs) and future contender Werdum. I think he can beat anyone with a decent cardio, and he already looks in better shape.

The first name he lists is the guy with the worst chance, lol.

Newsflash: Overeem doesn't look like the cover of a gay porn anymore. It's okay let the obsession subside.

He didn't 'dismantle' anyone, Ninimäki made a crucial mistake which Bäckström capitalized on. Before that though he wasn't blowing Ninimäki out of the water or anything.

And if you think Ninimäki wouldn't get destroyed by the top 10 of that WD then you are on some very powerful drugs my friend.

Bäckström's groundgame is nowhere near good enough to hang with world class black belts and standing he's still very raw and leaves himself open which would spell disaster against guys like Aldo or Poirier.

Aldo , Edgar , Mendes , Poirier , Swanson there's 5 names he has VERY little hope of getting past.

I think choking out a very tough opponent in the first round of your UFC debut is pretty impressive. Mistake or not I still think Niinimäki could make it competitive against a couple top 10's.

You're saying that he has stuff to work on? Yeah every fighter does. Also, you're way too caught up on rankings, that don't mean anything when you're face down sleeping.

The US does not actually have any cities with a larger population than Sweden, but still impressive nonetheless. Sweden is also producing more interesting prospects than most of it's larger European counterparts.
