Lighter weight classes are solid as fuck. Get rid of Heavyweight if you want to clear out a division that is weak. 145-125 has some very solid, athletic, and exciting fighters and have had some really solid bouts so far.

Women have had some great UFC fights. If you dislike WMMA then you should dislike the older UFC. People use the "they aren't as skilled" excuse way too much. I've seen plenty of unskilled male fighters. It's the beginning of their sport, keep complaining.

PPV's are good if you aren't a filthy casual wanna be fan.

Who bitches about free on tv fights? Honestly?

The UFC is doing well. It's making great profits and putting on great shows. The frequency of slower PPV's is going to be higher due to the amount, but so will the exciting ones. If you want to watch two dudes brawl go start a bar fight. I'd rather see a skilled fight than a "Leonard Gracia" off any time.

If you don't like the UFC card, or WMMA, change the channel or don't watch it, simple as that. But don't bitch about it. Only MMA fans will bitch about more fights.

Cards used to be much better that way. Who else agrees?

I like most of the things they are doing but:

Stack the PPV cards (talking Pride style stackings)

Be a little more flexible - throw in a proper bracketed (multi-event) tournament or something every so often.

And fix the rules - knees to the head at all times, kicks to the head on the ground if both fighters are downed. Overall scoring with a decent methodology that aligns to the spirit of combat (to damage, to finish) (This is the most important factor, even more so than rules)

Make it REAL MMA... - a FIGHT like it was back in the day, not who can play the best points game to most effectively satisfy what is rewarded by Judges/Unified System

(And I don't give a shit if "UFC" is watercooler talk or not. Stop pandering to the mainstream dollar and selling the true soul out of the sport for $$$)

*Knees to the head of grounded fighters
*Kicks to the head if both fighters are grounded
*Re-evaluate US MMA scoring

1 PPV a month and a Fox event every once in a while should be fine. Too many ufc events with watered down fight cards lately.
