I honestly think that the two beatings that Cain gave JDS are going to impact JDS in the future someday. JDS has such a good chin, which can be a bad thing in sport fighting - in the sense that they will just keep getting their brain jarred around in their skull instead of going out and saving the extra damage. He took such a bludgeoning, that I wouldn't be surprised if his brain took some permanent damage. Those are the types of fights I actually don't like to watch.....

Do you actually believe this?

Ortiz was the early UFC’s poster boy, they invested millions in marketing him, and some would say padded and protected his image giving him opponents like Elvis Sinosic for a title fight.

Whatever the merits of those claims, he was absolutely not self-made, promoted, or managed for most of his career. His success and popularity was largely correlated with zuffa’s promotional effort.

i saw an interview with Leben not too long ago where he said he had some memory loss for a while after the Anderson fight... that's pretty serious...Leben said he lost "a few days"
