Shogun had over 60% of votes.
WOW ... I seriously thought Jones was the favorite.

Did people not see Shogun vs Coleman? Shogun stinks against wrestlers.

Always has ... always will.

Jones dominated wrestlers with dominant wrestling.
There were plenty of people who thought Jones had a good chance on winning the fight. But anybody claiming that they predicted Jones to go in and completely decimate Shogun from bell to bell is full of shit. Jones was still very green at the time and the real question on everyone's mind was 'Is he ready yet?' Obviously stylistic analysis goes into any fight prediction and Shogun had struggled against wrestlers in the past, but Shogun had also never fought a wrestler with the style of Jones so that history had to be taken with a grain of salt. Jones Greco style and unique body type was something the Shogun had never seen before and made this fight even more difficult to predict.

I picked Jones to take it by a very narrow margin but I (just like everyone else) was blown away by how easy he made it look.

50/50. I'll tell you though, after this fight, I never chose against Bones again.
