As for Fedor, he was offered a 6 fight contract worth $30 million if he won all 6 fights.
And we're not talking about fighters on the undercards. We're talking about Fedor, and champs, and what those guys get paid. And Fedor would not be considered on par with other champs. He was the biggest name in the sport, at that time, so the contract you refer to would represent less than half what he was probably worth.
But it still represented an insane departure over what UFC was paying their top fighters. In other words, you reinforced the point I was making. Thank you.
