I broke my toe awhile ago not nearly as bad as jones did. its been 2 years and its still not fully healed. its a hard thing to let heal unless you can find a way to just not walk for a few months, even in a cast you still have to put pressure on it to walk

I doubt its too significant. I'd say 3 months at most if it actually broke. If by some luck, that was a dislocation, he will be fine very soon.

5 weeks is pretty typical, but jones is young with great genetics--he'll likely heal faster than most.

I had a very similar injury and it took about 6 weeks. Not too bad.
