Watch Nick's NSAC hearing, he doesn't lie. I'm not an insider but I have talked with several of his training partners over the years who only confirmed what should already be obvious to everyone. Most people are idiots though, case in point the NSAC thought Nick was being disingenuous but then told Chael that he was the most honest fighter they'd ever come across the during the same hearing.
What I meant by saying Nick can be flakey is that I wouldn't be shocked if he missed those shoots or didn't answer Dana's texts, but if that happened he wouldn't be lying about it after the fact or trying to put some spin on it for the media the way Dana undoubtedly is. He might post a video to youtube of him talking shit in his car or ignore the situation entirely, but he isn't going to lie. I really think most of what Nick says goes over people's heads.
