Sherdog. Keeping it respectful since never.
Fighters don't fight for the fans, they fight for themselves.

That's the biggest fallacy in MMA.

You either retire a GOAT or fight long enough to see yourself become overrated.

You should get in there and show us how to do it then.

Alex fought a guy who had his number. In some fights you can look pretty but it is what it is what it is. He lost to a guy who was better than him. I'm sure he'll put his chin down next time and make you happy.

He should keep his chin down to prolong his career. Not sure why you are taking this personally, but, whatever. He throws some really nice strikes, and has clearly been in the gym a bunch to develop that - I don't know why this hasn't been corrected.

One clue may be that he frequently looks too stiff. He may be an athlete with great strength and speed, but a little lacking in the fluidity department.

Nothing funny about that, brutal stoppage. He was getting tagged way too easily, I predicted Martins by TKO – dude hits fucking hard. But he's getting KO'd himself soon enough.

You might be surprised how often fighters I see at these gyms cite their fans. A lot of them, of course, have to believe in themselves and hold their own personal goals. But many will cite that they love fighting for their fans. And that they hope they can reach the expectations of the brass and fans with bravery etc...

....... except Mike Pyle. He just like money and ladies

Color text = attention whore. Come up with more interesting things to say rather than creating gimmick.

I think upkicking & defending takedown attempts with knees to 'grounded' opponents should be legal.

Favs.: Lawler, McGregor, Velasquez, Werdum, Machida, Pettis, MacDonald, Dodson, Fedor

He was a trainwreck in that fight. I literally was waiting for the K.O. the moment I saw their first exchange. Guy REALLY needs to be taught how to keep his hands up, and chin down.
