Just because a fighter beats another fighter once, it doesn't mean that the rematch will go the same way. Anything can happen in a fight, and sometimes the better fighter loses and then comes back to beat that ass in the rematch.
Look at GSP/Serra
And the way Carlos lost by injury is still a legit loss, but it still leaves questions as to how the fight could have played out. Condit was finding his range and he always turns it up brutally in the latter rounds. I honestly don't think Woodley could have weathered the storm. I would like to see Carlos take a tune up fight before rematching Woodley because of the layoff.
But I am very confident that Carlos is the better fighter and I think he will beat Woodley in the rematch, and he won't win via Woodley tearing his ACL, either.
I agree with this. And Condit is the better fighter, i don't care if Woodley was winning the fight when Carlos got hurt. If they rematch Condit wins the fight, especially if its 5 round.
