In an interview a few days ago, Pierce said he was going to get an MRI yesterday (Tuesday). I haven't seen anything about the results. It's all speculation until we hear about the MRI.
Obviously, he didn't get injured as badly as some have. He's walking around. That doesn't excuse Palhares, though. If the ref had been just a bit slower and less aggressive, it may have made the difference between a career-ending injury and a minor one.
