This. The super combo for the finish was the best moment of women's MMA I've seen possibly ever. Actual technique, not just flailing arm punches, solid kicks and clinch work. Good shit

Hahaha, that was in referrence to TS calling Chick Diaz "female Diaz".

Pretty much all of us Worldwide MMA regulars are fans of Leslie Smith, particularly the candid interviews that gave rise to the "Chick Diaz" fame.

I admit she looked good in this victory but her opponent was 3-1-1 (yet still ranked #14 in the world...) while Smith was 6-5-1. Women's 135 needs some serious work.

It seems as if Duke has never fully recovered from Nakamoto.

Smith looking good. Glad to see it coming together for her.

She looked like Cyborg swinging wildly when she had Duke up against the cage. That works on some and won't work on others. Will never work on Ronda because she'll clinch and toss her on her head before she stands there eating punches.

That #14 is the UFC's ranking.

Here is a more credible ranking from the Unified Women's Pro MMA Rankings for July.

Bantamweights (126-135 pounds)

1. “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey (9-0) - UFC Champion
2. Alexis “Ally-Gator” Davis (16-5)
3. "Alpha" Cat Zingano (8-0)
4. Sarah Kaufman (17-2, 1NC)
5. Jessica “Evil” Eye (10-2, 1NC)
6. Miesha “Cupcake” Tate (14-5)
7. Sara McMann (7-1)
8. Lauren Murphy (8-0)
9. Liz “Girl-Rilla” Carmouche (9-5)
10. Rin Nakai (16-0-1)

11. Tonya Evinger - 12. Jessica Andrade - 13. Amanda Nunes - 14. Holly Holm - 15. Larissa Pacheco

They include everyone who is fit to be ranked.

I have her ranked 30th on my own listing seen here. She will drop a little after this last fight.

You actually pay attention to the UFC's WMMA rankings instead of the Unified list?

MMA fans seriously need to catch up.
