I hoping for Silva vs Machida in a demo

I was thinking that with Anderson choosing to go with super-fights and not contenders, that he could have a Demo fight with his friend Machida in a card that would need some star power. I know Machida dad's wanted for his son and Silva to fight, but with how things are, that won't happen.

Pride did this with the Gracies giving a BJJ demo for the audience. Silva and Machida can explain things between the rounds. Stances, distance, punch/leg combos, fakes, defense, and flamboyant striking could all be covered.

This should not be limited to Silva, all the old greats could come back and give to the audience as well.

Tell me what you think.

No. When Machida dropped down, Anderson felt betrayed, he thought Machida was basically saying Silva couldn't beat Chris Weidman. Anderson was also angry that Machida knocked out Munoz, who Anderson considers to be a dear friend.
