Another great example see without trying, you can see the story behind this fight. You get two stories. Mayweather who has no respect for this underdog, and you see the underdog who lives in the past, and you even get that point through Mosley's hairstyle. A guy who fights for money against a guy who fights for respect. One that fights for show, and the other fights for history. Both work hard, but for different reasons. Of course you have tracking shots, low angles, key lighting, trucking in, and it all builds up to a climax. It gets you pumped for a fight that most think is a blow out. Rousey vs Liz will be over within a minute or two, but the show is literally the Ronda Rousey show so it's lacking heart in the fight aspect. It also doesn't help that Mayweather is a showmen and can give bad guy quotes "You fucking dummy I'm prizefighter, that's what I am suppose to fight for a prize." You get emotional just seeing how much this means to Mosely and that gets through with two things. 1. Mosley with the Rocky music, and 2. Mosely's lighting is setup to make you believe the door is closing on him in the interviews.
