one of my fav submissions ever. the Peruvian Anaconda... do Bronx choke. and also one of my favorite fights. I love those exciting grappling battles. this was like a better version of sass/wiman

The gator roll is meant to place the opponent's own body weight on the side of the neck where his own arm is.

The d'arce does not really require this because you can just squeeze your arm inward like a vise to apply pressure.

But if you're large enough and can lock the choke in tightly you don't NEED to gator roll to finish the anaconda.
