This thread clarified to me that I have no interest in fights happening below 155lbs lol

Think the point he is making is there are tons of awesome fights and 2 guys don't make all of MMA.

BJ having a successful run at FW would be the best case scenario for the UFC. If he beats Frankie and then another contender at FW, they could market the shit out of his come back and his attempt at being the first ever 3 division champion. As a die hard BJ fan, I know this is a long shot, but it would relieve a lot of the pressure of losing two major stars this year.

D/R.

I care. MMA is now somewhat less interesting to me.

Weidman, "Hendricks", Pettis , Barao - the UFC has a whole new hemisphere of faces these days. Im going to miss the GSP n Spider Silva days

A lot less now. My interest waned when the Chuck/Fedor/Cro Cop old guard passed and when each legend leaves I care less about the remaining fighters.
I'm interested in Weidman and the MW title picture but that's pretty much it now.
I don't care about Jones, respect Cain but can't get excited for his fights , don't watch women's mma at all and can't care about the little guys.

Meh.

Wow. That's very sad. You should turn in your MMA fan card.

I love the sport and a couple of stars do not a sport make. It's going to be a good year if there aren't too many injuries.

Hey that's great , hope you love it all your life.
Me? Not so much anymore. It's sad but things change, other interests pop up , life moves on. Great memories though.

The UFC is in the process of growing their brand, diluting the talent pool with one-off contracts with regional fighters, and with so many cards I feel like I don't care as much as I did before. 2009 was an amazing year for MMA it all kinda went downhill from the brock era

Anderson can now finally start his dancing career. If he fails there he can audition for The Voice or American Idol.
