Every week we calculate Current Score for for about 8,000 fighters.
That Current Score determines Current Rankings.
Those are Current Rankings, which mean, rankings at that point in time (not to be confused with All Time Ranking and Career Score).
Same method that is used to calculate weekly Current rankings is also used to calculate all Historical Rankings.
Those Historical Rankings are on the quarterly basis (calculated every 3 months).
At the end of each Quarter we store the scores and rankings for each fighter.
Right now we have scores for 84 quarters (from 4th quarter of 1993 to 4th quarter of 2013).
That is how those top 5, top 10, top 100 are created.
For All Time Total we use following counts (from Historical Rankings):
- how many times fighter was ranked in Pound for Pound rankings as: top1P4P, top5P4P, top10P4P, top30P4P, top100P4P
- how many times fighter was ranked in Weight Category rankings as: top1Ctg, top3Ctg, top5Ctg, top10Ctg, top25Ctg
- how many times fighter had Current Score greater then 800, 700, 600, 400 (gt8CS,gt7CS,gt6CS,gt4CS)
